Traci Hale
Traci Hale is an important R&B signing for peermusic. Traci and Hale Yeah Music entered into a worldwide exclusive co-publishing deal with peermusic. Traci started her career as a back up singer for R&B superstars Keith Sweat and Aaliyah. Her first collaborations were with Rodney Jenkins and the two started with the Dr. Doolittle soundtrack (Universal) and concluded with tracks on Brandy’s breakthrough CD “Never Say Never.” Traci went on to write with Chris “Tricky” Stewart of Red Zone Entertainment and their hits include Sammie’s “Crazy Things I Do,” the smash hit “Case of the Ex (Whatcha Gonna Do) by MYA. Traci kicks off 2001 with a song in the Chris Rock film “Down To Earth” and songs on albums from Tyreese (RCA), Ginuwine (Epic) and Usher (Arista). Monti Olsen, senior director of creative affairs, comments, “Traci’s compositions put a smile on my face. She starts in R&B and seamlessly moves to pop and then back to R&B. Her ability to write cutting edge lyrics is extraordinary. And the amazing thing is that she’s just getting started. I take great pride in Traci joining the peermusic R&B team.”
